Pendent fire sprinklers, are a common type of automatic fire sprinklers, that hang downwards from the sprinkler pipe and distribute water in a downward, circular pattern using a convex deflector.
They activate when the heat-sensitive element (like a glass bulb or fusible link) reaches a specific temperature, causing the sprinkler head to open and release water.
The water is discharged downwards in a circular pattern, effectively covering the area below the sprinkler.
Pendent sprinklers are widely used in various commercial and residential spaces, including office buildings, shopping centers, and supermarkets, where concealment isn't a primary concern.
